Breaking Bad Season 3 Episode 7: One Minute
In a flashback showing Uncle Tuco’s influence on the Cousins becoming psychopaths, Uncle Tuco sits in the garden with his young nephews during their childhood years. One of the Cousins destroys his brother’s doll and the other brother then wishes his brother were dead. Uncle Tuco waves over the destructive brother and pushes his head down into a bucket of water, holding it there, while the other brother is panicked. When Uncle Tuco asks the Cousin if this is what he really wanted, the Cousin replies no and beats on Uncle Tuco until he releases his brother.
Hank talks to his superiors at work, explaining what happened when he injured Jesse. Hank’s career appears to be destroyed from his actions. Hank must meet with investigators to give a statement the next day. Marie meets Hank in the elevator, on the way down Hank breaks down crying while Marie holds him. As they arrive at the first floor Hank pulls it together and he and Marie walk out of the station. Hank tells Marie how he has frozen up in situations since the El Paso incident and finally shares his fears with her.
Saul and Walt visit Jesse at the hospital. Walt apologizes to Jesse for Hank’s attack and having to bear the brunt of the RV situation. Jesse is furious with Walt and doesn’t want anything to do with him anymore. When Walt asks Jesse not to press charges against his brother-in-law Hank, Jesse is livid, telling Walt he will destroy Hank’s life and make him miserable until Hank puts a gun to his head and kills himself. Jesse threatens to take Walt down with him if he is arrested for the RV meth lab. Walt leaves Jesse, wondering how he can somehow keep Jesse quiet and protect Hank from Jesse. Saul wonders outloud to Walt if there needs to be other alternatives if Jesse starts ratting them out.
