Jack tells Liz he is prepared to lock himself in his office with no distractions so he can choose which woman to date, Nancy or Avery. Jack has taken anything that might sway him or take his interest in a different direction out of his office.

Liz is walking down the street on a Thursday night when she sees her office staff in a bar having an after hours party without her. Liz can’t believe they didn’t invite her because she thinks she is a fun person too. Liz seeks Jack’s advice and he tells her not to take things personally, no one wants to hang out with the boss. Jack invites Liz to have a drink with him, but Liz is still fuming. In the writers room Liz asks sarcastically how everyone’s evening was the night before. Liz is ready to launch into a tirade when Cerie interrupts her, asking her and Jenna about putting together a bridal shower that week before she gets married. Liz wants to prove to the staff she can throw a fun party. Liz tells the writers and Jenna she plans to throw a bridal shower for Cerie and that their attendance at the party is mandatory.

As Jack deliberates over the women he cares for using flow charts, photos, elaborate notes and darts, Khonani (think Conan O’Brien) the janitor asks him to intercede for him. Khonani was promised a change in his night shift five years ago, a contract Jack signed five years ago agreeing to the change. Jack tells Khonani he will make sure the change happens because NBC doesn’t go back on their word as “The Biggest Loser” network.

Liz calls Tracy to make sure he can make it to her party for Cerie. Tracy wants to go but can’t, his wife is pregnant and needs him to help her since she’s on bedrest. Liz begs Tracy to come because he will be the life of the party but Tracy turns Liz Lemon down. Kenneth helps Tracy by watching his wife Angie while he is out, and Angie attacks Kenneth. By the time Tracy gets back Tracy’s dog is growing at Kenneth, who is up on top the furniture to escape the dog. Tracy asks Kenneth to represent him at Liz’ party and asks Kenneth to put his dog’s shock collar on him so he can’t leave the house. Tracy’s dog runs off, free from the shock collar.

Jack meets with Khonani and the janitor who works the earlier shift, Subbas (think Jay Leno). Subbas refuses to give up his early shift even though Jack has a contract signed for Khonani. As Jack tries to mediate between Khonani and Subbas, Subbas agrees to make the shift change. Later that evening Khonani meets with Jack, claiming that Subbas is leaving no trash for him to throw out on his shift. Jack tells Khonani it is a difficult decision to choose between two people. Jack tells Khonani he must give the early shift back to Subbas. Khonani tells Jack he understands, and he already has a new job lined up at “Fox”Woods.

Liz starts off the party by introducing her new karaoke machine to the staff, making sure they know this will be a bang up party. Liz finally snaps and accuses the staff of going out and partying without her as they cringe. Liz expects an apology from them for leaving her out of the fun.

Kenneth calls Tracy reminding him he needs to go to the car and get Angie’s medicine for her. Tracy realizes he has to wear the shock collar to the edge of his property and may get shocked. Kenneth tells Tracy that Tracy’s vicious dog is after him as frantically rides off on his bike.

The writers tell Liz they need her to lead them as their boss and that’s just not fun at a party. Kenneth arrives at Liz’ party with Tracy’s crazed dog following him. Toofer tells Liz she is the mother of TGS and asks Liz to protect them. The writers hide in a room as they ask Liz to help them escape from Tracy’s dog, who is tearing everything up in the living room. Liz agrees to handle the situation and gears up in arm and leg pads and football helmet, letting the dog attack her while the staff escapes her apartment.
