The Simpsons Season 21 Episode 18: Chief Of Hearts

Homer has to visit the bank but food is not allowed there so he puts his candy apple in his pocket. The clerks think he has a gun and mistakenly think he’s holding up the bank. At trial the judge sentences Homer to 100 hours of community service (he thinks its worse than going to prison). During comunity service Homer begins to become friends with Chief Clancy Wiggum who is supervising the prisoners. Homer and Chief Wiggum begin a bromance of sorts, with Chief Wiggum very excited that he has a new friend and asking the other cops if Homer is watching him as Homer leaves community service that day.

Marge overhears Bart and Milhouse talk about a cool new transformer toy similar to a Pokemon-style trading card game, called Battle Balls. Marge misunderstands them and thinks the kids are talking about drugs. Bart and Milhouse are way into these new toys. Marge rummages through Bart’s room and Bart catches his mom searching for drugs. Bart shows his mom Battle Balls and Marge thinks the toy is super cool.

The Simpsons Season 21 Episode 17: American History X-Cellent

Mr. Burns expects his entire power plant workforce to put on a 4th of July BBQ extravaganza for him so he can enjoy the holiday while his workers slave away for him. Homer, Lenny and Carl are tired of working on the holiday and sneak into Mr. Burns wine cellar. They get drunk and destroy some of Mr. Burns precious items stored away and make a big dent in his wine collection. When Mr. Burns calls the police to come to investigate the problem the police find a famous stolen painting hanging in Burn’s wine cellar and arrest him, sending him to jail.

Lisa wants to share her excitement about her ant farm with Bart, who isn’t too interested at first. Bart sticks a whole pop-tart into the ant farm and Lisa is upset. The ant farm breaks by accident and one lone ant is saved. Lisa creates a new ant farm for her one ant and warns Bart to stay away from it.

Mr. Burns assistant Smithers takes over the business and tries to be nice to the workers. Homer, Lenny and Carl take advantage of Smithers until he overhears them making fun of his gullible nature. Smithers decides to be just like Mr. Burns only worse and Homer, Lenny and Carl begin to wish Mr. Burns would come back.

The Simpsons Season 21 Episode 16: The Greatest Story Ever D’ohed

As Ned Flanders runs his bible study, Homer screams out “hey, my bathing suit came off” as he goes down the sidewalk on a slip and slide, disrupting Flanders program. The entire bible study group watches Homer through the window as he slides and Ned becomes more upset. Reverend Lovejoy convinces Ned Homer can still be saved. Ned looks at WWJD bracelet and his “Jesus time for a good deed clock” on the wall and agrees.

Ned invites Homer and his family as his guests to the bible study’s trip to Israel the holy land the next month. Homer ponders out loud sarcastically about “taking my family to a war zone, on a bus with religious lame-os, in a country with no pork in a desert with no casinos” to Flanders. Marge hears the exchange and accepts Ned’s offer as long as the Simpsons pay their own way, an idea Homer’s wails indicate he is not happy with.

The plane arrives in Israel and Homer is bound and tied by airport security. Marge tells Homer he should apologize for his remarks to which Homer says “but latkes aren’t as good as American pancakes”. Homer suggests the latkes are pretty good with applesauce and he is released. Krusty is on the trip and Lisa asks him why he traveled to Israel, he says as a Jew he must travel there once in his life to avoid hell. When Lisa tells Krusty Jews don’t believe in hell, Krusty runs into the nearest strip joint.

The Simpsons Season 21 Episode 15: Stealing First Base

Bart’s teacher is out of town, forcing Principal Skinner to combine the two fourth grade classes. As Bart’s class joins the other fourth grade class, he ends up sitting next to Nikki (guest voice Sarah Silverman) who is unimpressed with Bart. When Bart finds out Nikki skateboards he develops a crush on her. Grandpa convinces Bart to steal a kiss from Nikki the next time they are together. Bart takes his Grandpa’s advice and plants an innocent kiss on Nikki. Her parents are in an uproar over the kiss and sue the school for Bart’s inappropriate behavior.

Lisa finds out she received an F on a paper and is crushed. Suddenly the other students think Lisa is cool because they think she’s not a gifted kid anymore. When Lisa’s teacher Ms. Hoover tells her the F was a mistake and she got an A+++, the rest of the class goes back to hating her. Lisa complains on her organic blog about being gifted and gets a supportive email back from FLOTUS1. Lisa and the other school children are shocked when a military helicopter lands on the school grounds and First Lady Michelle Obama (guest voice Angela Basset) walks out. Mrs. Obama reveals she is FLOTUS1 (First Lady Of The United States) and reads Lisa’s blog, telling her she is an organic gardener and also an avid reader. The first lady encourages Lisa to keep achieving and tells the rest of the children it’s ok to be smart.

The Simpsons Season 21 Episode 14: Postcards From The Wedge

A future segment starts the episode, showing the “World of Tomorrow”, a 50′s and Jetson’s style family with 50′s car and clothes, picking up their child at a futuristic school.

Bart’s class has a big assignment due and Bart does not have his homework. Bart tries to make his model out of the junk in his desk. When Bart’s teacher see his lame model she tells him he’s had three months to do the project and is in trouble for not having his homework done. Bart’s teacher proceeds to write a letter to Bart’s parents about his miserable school performance. Bart’s teacher sends Martin, the goody-two-shoes student, to deliver Bart’s letter to the mail slot. When Bart shoots at Martin with his sling-shot he misses and hits the fire alarm, all the kids are dismissed for the fire. Bart follows Martin but is held back by a flood of sixth graders. Martin drops the mail in the mail slot and Bart races to the mail room but the mail bag gets picked up by grounds keeper Willie for delivery.

Bart successfully fakes a fever to stay home from school so he can intercept the letter from Marge. Bart waits by the mail slot at the front door, just as the mail comes through the slot, Homer opens the door and goes through the mail. Homer opens the letter from Bart’s teacher and finds out he is a month behind in his homework. Homer and Marge visit the principals office to pick up Bart’s pile of homework. Marge thinks that it is a lot of homework for a fourth grader to complete while Homer tells the principal to pile even more homework on Bart. At home Marge and Homer are still at odds about the amount of homework Bart has to complete.
